Senior Economic and Social Inclusion Expert

Dr. Shakya has 30 years of research, planning, project design, evaluation and teaching experiences in the field of economics, gender, and social inclusion. She had successfully completed 31 research projects that are related to the development field. Of them, 10 types of research are related to project evaluation specifically on gender, inclusion and poverty issues. She has published about 28 development related papers and articles.  She also has experienced on quality assurance management on research and research methodologies while working with World Bank funded the project as Director for Grant Commission for about 3 years. She holds Ph.D. in Economics on Human Resources Development in Nepal: An Analysis of Education and Health Sectors.
